The Department of English announces the Janet Howard Taylor Shakespeare Prize of
$50 for the best essay on a Shakespearean subject. The deadline is April 15. In-
terested undergraduates should get details from Mrs. Holl in the English Department.
The December, 1969, issue of the Journal of Chemical Education, Vol. 46, p. 837,
carries an article written by Dr. James H. DeLap entitled "First Semester Qualitative
Analysis . "
Notice to Holders of University-Issue American Express Account Cards: The University
is closing this account and renewal fees are not being paid. Please understand that your
expiring cards are not valid and service may be refused if they are presented. (American Express may have mailed you a new card, but it is not from the University and the
fee for it has not been paid. )
The West Volusia YMCA will be conducting its membership drive March 2 through
March 14. George Borders is heading up the drive for the Stetson community. When
you are contacted, any contribution you can make will be appreciated.
Additional copies of the faculty and staff directory may be secured from the Public
Relations office. Please keep the directory within the University community.
If you have not received a Stetson University Calendar or would like additional copies,
please stop by the Public Relations office. There are a few extra copies still on hand.

would be of interest to the readers of the Stetson Magazine and Stetson in the News are
