The Stetson Credit Union will close its books for 1969 on December 19. Requests for share
withdrawals and loans must be processed a few days prior to this deadline for checks to be
prepared.
All students planning to do their internship during the spring semester and who have made
application, will meet with Dr. Margaret Wood, Director of Student Teaching, and Mrs.
Ruth Arnold, Assistant Director, for teaching assignments and orientation. The meeting will
be held Monday, December 15, at 3:00 p.m. , in Room 204 of the Carlton Union Building.
A reminder- will all professors or advisers in charge of off-campus tours or study slated
for the winter term please contact Judy Ausley at the Public Relations Office, ext. 252, to set
up times for interviews and pictures. Pictures and interviews must be completed before
December 19. News Services plans to do hometown releases on the various students.
Four women Physical Education Majors at Stetson University took their theory and practical
examinations for National Volleyball Officiating Rating at the Universi ty of Florida, at
Gainesville on November 25. Barbara Barr, Cynthia Dekle, Bronwyn Martin, and Debbie
Snyder made an outstanding impression with their knowledge, preparation, behavior, and
appearance. The girls turned in a very creditable performance and all four received their
National Rating. This National Rating signifies that the holder is capable of officiating any
game at any skill level (through National and Olympic level competition) anywhere in the
United States. This rating is for the most highly skilled officials and it is very unusual that a
student ever attains this peak.

convention in Tallahassee, Florida: Bronwyn Martin, Debbie Snyder, Joy Langston,
