Notice to Departmental Chairman: You may pick up your budgets for the Fiscal Year 1970-71
in the Comptroller's Office, Room 203, Elizabeth Hall. Please remember that the budget will
be released to chairmen only.
On Tuesday, May 19 at 8:30 a.m. there will be a meeting in the Intern Lab for returning
interns to meet and talk with personnel representatives from nine Florida counties. Graudate
students and any prospective teachers are invited to attend this meeting.
The following students missed classes on Wednesday, April 29 to participate in a golf match
with Florida Presbyterian College in St. Petersburg: Wayne Brassey, Martin Satava, Jim
Ross, Pete Williams, Richard Langille.
The following students will be missing classes Friday, May 1 due to participating in the South
Central Regional Archery Tournament in Baton Rouge, La. : Jay Kinney, Jim Gilbert, Ray
Merrill, Dennis Whipper, Dottie Brown, Cindy Holland, Ann Osborn, Amy Prescott.
Final Grades should not be given to students before they are mailed out by the Registrar.
On Wednesday, May 13, Dr. Harold Bennett, Executive Secretary of the Florida Baptist
Convention, and members of his staff will be on our campus for a "Shaping the 70's" Seminar.
Faculty are invited to attend a fellowship period from 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. in Rooms 204-205 of
the Carlton Union to meet Dr. Bennett and his staff. Dr. Bennett will speak at chapel on the
subject of "The Relationship for a New Decade, " after which there will be a coffee period
in the Union when faculty and students may ask questions of Dr. Bennett.
A committee has been appointed to continue the study of curricular requirements for the
College of Liberal Arts. See the notice attached to this bulletin.
