NOTICE: This is a reminder that all applications for Stetson University Research Grants
for the summer of 1970 should be in the Office of the Deans of the College of Liberal Arts,
Elizabeth Hall, by November 21, 1969. Every application should include the following
information:
Name and Rank
Number of years at Stetson
Number, amount, date of grants within the past five years
Description and value of intended project
Amount of time necessary to complete project
Form results will take (concert, book, articles, etc.)
Place (s) work will be done
Amount requested--a specific budget showing how much
will be spent for travel, materials, secretarial
assistance, etc.
SABBATICAL LEAVES -- Details of eligibility and application procedure are as follows:
Eligibility -- To be eligiblcfor a sabbatical leave, applicants must be able to meet the
following conditions:
1. Have completed at the time the projected leave will start at least seven
years of full-time service at Stetson, not including previous leaves of
absence.
2. Have the prospect of at least five years more of service to Stetson after
after completion of the leave.
3. Have tenure.
4. Submit by November 1, 1969, an application for a sabbatical leave during
the next year (1970-71) containing the following information:
a. Number of years at Stetson
b. Dates and nature of previous leaves of absence, if any.
c. Request for either full year or one semester leave; if the latter
indicate which semester.
d. Statement of plans for the sabbatical leave, including:
(1) Nature of research or study to be undertaken
(2) If travel is involved, projected dates and places.
