The Baptist Student Union is offering its • services to the faculty members again this year.
The money that the students earn from their services will be contributed to their summer
missions program. Call ext. 210, if you wish to have a student for work. The services
offered are: babysitting, lawn work, ironing, housecleaning, painting, etc.
On October 11, the Baptist Student Union will present a "Womanless Wedding" and Talent
Show at 7:30 in Allen Hall. If you have any fond wishes ($$$), save them for the Wishing Well.
The donations will be equally divided between the Evergreen Day School and the BSU Summer
Missions program.
Will all faculty advisers who have not returned check sheets and/or evaluation sheets on their
advisees to the Registrar's office, please do so. Thank you.
The 1969 United Fund Campaign for WestfVolusia is now under way. This important drive
represents a voluntary organization of eleven worthy non-profit agencies operating in our area.
The Stetson community will want to contribute appropriately to the success of this campaign
and the vital services it supports.
Please note that contributions to the United Fund may be counted toward the goals of Green
Feather, Stetson's own unique program fqr providing assistance to various community services.
It seems particularly appropriate at this time that Stetson should have a significant role in this
noble project and thus maintain and enhance our image within the community. So that Stetson
may receive proper credit for our participation, it is suggested that all gifts from Stetson
personnel be consolidated. You may contact Graves Edmondson or Ted Banks for additional
information.
NOTICE: The faculty meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 9, has been cancelled. The
next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Stetson Room .
