THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY ! ! !
It gives me pleasure to announce that our Summer School Director this year will be Dean Chauvii
I should like also to take this opportunity to thank Dean Allen for the outstanding job he did last
year in the same capacity.

Beginning with the Spring Semester, 1970, Dr. Fred Clark will assume the Directorship of
Stetson University's Department of Special Projects. His primary duties in his new post will be
the writing and selling of University proposals to foundations, governmental agencies, and friend
of the University. This is an extremely important area of university administration, as we all
know, and one that will be demanding and time consuming. On behalf of the Stetson community,
I should like to thank Dr. Clark for being willing to accept this responsibility and to congratulate
him on his new position.

We are all extremely proud of our debate team for the honor they have brought our school in
winning the intercollegiate debate in Montevallo, Alabama. I should like to personally congratulate the participating young ladies and gentlemen as well as our debate coach, Mr. Ronald Baugh

Office schedules for the coming holidays have been established as follows:
Thanksgiving- Close all offices as of 4:30 p.m., November 26th
and reopen at 8:00 a.m., November 28th.
Christmas - Close all offices as of 12:00 noon, December 24th
and reopen at 8:00 a.m., December 29th.
New Year's - Close all offices as of 4:30 p.m., December 31st
and reopen at 8:00 a.m., January 2, 1970.
