Stetson Union Board's cue room will be open for all students, staff and faculty from
12:30 to 10:30 p.m. , seven days a week. The cue room is located above the Bookstore.
It is our pleasure to inform you that Dr. Evans Johnson, has been accepted for the
summer institute on Afro-American History. Congratulations ! ! !
Dr. Settgast has a Master's hood available for anyone who needs one. It is free for the
asking by contacting Dr. Settgast in the Foreign Language Department.
FACULTY SENATE
The following notice is being repeated due to the fact that part of it was inadvertently
left out the first time it appeared in the bulletin.
By-Law #1:
Within one week following the annual election of members to the Senate, the chairman
of the Senate shall appoint a three member committee on faculty welfare to serve for
the ensuing year--from Junel to June 1.
At least one member of the committee shall be a faculty member who has not obtained
tenure and at least one shall be a professor with tenure. One member shall be designated as chairman of the committee. These names shall be submitted to the Dean of the
University in the next issue of the faculty bulletin.
It will be the duty of this committee to explore all areas related to the welfare of the
faculty and especially to deal with the significant sources of tension and dissatisfaction
which may exist at any given time within or pertaining to the faculty.
