This is to remind all ODK members to make their reservations with Dr. Baggett for the. -
dinner for Dr. Frank Rose, National ODK President, On May 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the
President's Dining Room.
All faculty are invited to a reception for Dr. Rose on May 12 at 8:30 p.m. in the Faculty
Lounge.
Miss Cathy Rounds, a speech and drama major who recently won the $100 Kansas City Star
Poetry Award, was also named a finalist in the 1969 Hallmark Poetry Competition.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Barnes have received fellowships to the University of Georgia
Graduate School amounting to over $5500.
Michael Yeargan, a drama major naw teaching speech and Spanish at Eustis High School,
has been admitted to Yale University Graduate School Drama. He will major in scene design.
Robert Oldham has received a $3200 scholarship from North Texas State University for
graduate study in drama.
WITHDRAWALS: Sharon Phipps, Daniel Dunnagan, Roscoe Crump, Rosa Domenech
The following students were absent from classes April 8, 9, 10, and 11, while winning the
Jamaica Golf Tournament: Wayne Brassey, Martin Satava, Jim Ross, Darryl Harman,
Don Settina, Ron Crump.
David Eā Sumner has received a $2000 half-time graduate research assistantship in the
Division of Instructional Research and Service, Department of Educational Research and
Testing, at Florida State University.
