Caps and gowns may be picked up at the Bookstore the week of May 26, not May 6 as
stated in the letter to the degree candidates.
The English Department is pleased to announce that the University of Vienna has awarded to
English Major Don Yates a scholarship for study at its branch in the village of Strobl, near
Salzburg. Don will study the German language and literature, before enrolling at Freiburg
under the Stetson Year-Abroad program with Dr. Coolidge where he will study comparative
literature and graduate in June, 1970.
One of Dr. Taylor's creative writing students, Cathy Rounds, has won a coveted Star
Award in national competition in the Kansas City Star Annual Poetry Contest.
