LAST DAY TO DROP COURSES WITHOUT ACADEMIC PENALTY IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER
4, 1968.
Pre-registration for the winter term and the spring semester will take place Noveml
25, and 26.
Fall Grade Inventories are due October 14 and November 18.
May we remind you of the November 1 deadline for the filing of Sabbatical applications. This
date is the deadline for applications for leaves during the Spring Semester, 1969, and the
Fall and Spring Semesters, 1969-70.
Please note that reservations for the University Woman's Club luncheon of October 5 should
be made by Thursday, October 3. You may call Miss Bowen at 734-4098 or Mrs. Panton at

The Department of Teacher Education in cooperation with the English Department is setting
up special reading improvement classes for freshmen. Dr. Elizabeth Teigland will be in
charge of the instruction. Mr. Donald Craig, graduate assistant in reading, will be the
instructor.
