The Freshman Assembly will be discontinued after Monday, December 9, until February 24.
Congratulations to Tony Jusick who has just been awarded a $2000 grant from the National
Science Foundation. The money will be used for instrumentation in a study of cosmic radio
noise produced by large short-term increases of X-ray flux from the sun.
A Church Employment Committee has been established to serve as a clearing house for
requests from churches desiring part-time employees -- whether as pastors, ministers
of music or education. The committee will also assist students to find church work
commensurate with their vocational plans. The committee welcomes faculty cooperation
in the fulfillment of its purpose. The committee is composed of the following: Lewis
Myers, Chairman; George Painter; Jack Mabry; Bob Fort.
