Progress Report on Green Feather-United Fund, as of noon Thursday, October 17: 47
faculty-staff contributions totaling $1, 361. This is good for these 47 but this represents
only 1/3 participation. Let's get into action and close our solicitation effort quickly and
successfully! !
As per orders of Dr. L. Smith, the infirmary will not issue medical service to faculty
or staff other than first aid attention. Thank you for cooperating in this matter.
All faculty and administrative offices in need of 1969 desk calendars should forward a list
of their needs to the Bookstore by November 1, 1968.
Faculty Advisors for Year Abroad Program -- Faculty members are invited to apply for
the position of resident faculty advisor in the AMFC Year Abroad Program in Madrid,
Frieburg, or Neuchatel during the academic years 1969-70 or 1970-71.
Qualifications include a practical knowledge of the appropriate language and availability
from August 20 to the following July 15. Prior experience in a foreign country is desirable,
as the faculty advisor must travel and work with students as well as foreign landlords,
banks, university officials, and so on.
Anyone interested should send a statement of his qualifications to the office of the College
of Liberal Arts (Box 1278) prior to October 28.
