Faculty Members: You are cordially invited to.hear Dr. Elliot Allen's "Last Lecture'' --
what he would say if this were the last lecture he was ever to give. It will be on Tuesday,
March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Business School Auditorium.
Reminder to those traveling for the University: Audit requirements make necessary the
submission of receipts for common carrier transportation, lodging, conference registrations
and turnpike tolls. Other receipts which are furnished will be helpful. Unusual expenses,
such as entertainment of University guests, should be covered by receipts. Please note
that this is a reminder for those who travel infrequently: it does not represent a change in
these requirements.
The Graduate School Foreign Language Examination will be given in Sampson Hall at:
lQ.p00 A.M. , Saturday, April 20. This is the same test used by approximately 100 graduate
schools to fulfill the foreign language requirement for the advanced degree. Tests are
available in Spanish, French, German, and Russian, and arrangements can be made to take
tests in two different languages. All juniors and seniors planning to attend graduate schools
in the Arts and Sciences should have the scores of this test in their records. The test will
not be given at Stetson again until April, 1969. Additional information can be obtained from
Dr. Minter or Dr. Morland.
Mr. W. D. Howard, Personnel Manager, Florida Correctional Institutions, Lowell, Florida,
will be on campus, Monday, March 25 at 10:30 A.M., Room 203 in the SUB to interview
prospective teachers.
Dr. C. Howard Hopkins, Dean of the University 1950-1958, will be on campus Friday, March
29. A luncheon will be given in his honor at 12:15 that date. If you would like to attend,
please make your reservation at the Graduate Office, Extension 305.
