INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS INSTITUTE: The kick-off luncheon for the International
Affairs Institute will be held at 12:15 on Monday, January 22, in the private dining room
of the Student Union Building. Reservations are open to interested members of the
faculty and staff as long as the sixty-five spaces hold out. The entree for the meal
will be chicken salad (unless the weather is unseasonable), and there will be a brief
talk, "Russian-American Relations, 1968, " by Professor Ellison, our resident
specialist. The cost of the luncheon is $1. 00 (the Institute is bearing 50£ per plate
of the cost), which will be paid at the door. Reservations may be made by calling
the Department of History, 235.
NOTICE ! There will be a general faculty meeting on February 1, 1968 at 7:00 p.m.
in the Business School auditorium. Please mark your calendars and plan to be
present.
PLEASE NOTE : On January 26, Inauguration Day, classes will be dismissed at noon.
All members of the Stetson University Credit Union please note that the annual
business meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 17, at 4:30 p.m. in room 206,
Davis Hall.
Word has been received that Mr. Ronald Wimberley has completed his work for the
M.S. Degree in Sociology. Congratulations to Mr. Wimberley.
The Women's Section of the Physical Education Department is offering supervised
recreation activities during the minimester for all students, faculty, and staff.
The activities are archery, badminton, tennis, gymnastics, and volleyball. For
