PRE-REGISTRATION FOR FALL SEMESTER for the few students who entered this summer
will be Monday and Tuesday. Such students should obtain their check-sheets from
the Guidance Office prior to consulting their faculty advisors.
STATISTICS* 469 persons have been regularly enrolled this summer; 19 more were in
American Studies, 33 in the Workshop on Juvenile Delinquency, and 25 in the College Skills program. Total, 546.
COMMENCEMENT* All members of the regular faculty teaching in the Summer Session
are expected at Commencement, The procession will form at 7:40 P.M. in the corridor of Elizabeth Hall. Please plan to attend the informal reception afterward in
Allen Hall. President Edmunds will preside at Commencement and Dean Stewart will
speak. (Note the attached letter sent to candidates for degrees*

CLEAN-UP* Please remove from classrooms, walls, bulletin boards or other public
places any personal or University items that may be perishable or could be lost
or damaged in the process of cleaning and painting during the interim. Also, this

FALL SEMESTER* New faculty members will meet Friday afternoon, September 21st.
The general faculty meeting will be Saturday, September 22, at 9*00 A.M. in Allien
Hall; there will be a family picnic sponsored by the Faculty Women's Club that.
