FACULTY MEETINGS will be held regularly on the fourth Friday of each month at 10:00
in the Auditorium, The next such meeting will be on January 26th and further notice
will be given. It is suggested that Committee meetings be held at this hour on
other Fridays as far as possible.

AFTER CHAPEL on January 18, Thursday, the Faculty is to meet in the Auditorium for
a brief time in which Mr. Bob Denny will speak. He will be here as head of the
Baptist Student work to help in the planning of Religious Focus Week in February.
PLEASE REMIND your classes about the forum lectures that are given each Monday
afternoon at U:00 p.m. Dr. Emil Lengyel's talk today will be on "The l\Q% Near "East
and Israel."
FACULTY MEMBERS who have not paid the initial fee of .£2.00 for children attending
the Wednesday afternoon Art classes are requested to forward this amount to Mr,
George H. Gaines, Instructor in the Art Department, Holmes Hall.
INCOME TAX STATEMENTS (W-2) will be attached to the January 31st salary checks. If
these forms are needed before that date, they may be obtained in tne Business Office
upon request.
REMEDIAL READING groups will be meeting again this quarter under the direction of
the Guidance Office. If any of your students seem to need this help, please refer
them to Dr. Hood.
APPLICATION BLANKS for joining the National Education Association may be obtained
in this office if desired.
NEW POST OFFICE BOXES will be provided for every individual faculty member by
Monday, January 22, You may plan on getting these numbers and combinations from
Miss Nelson in the Post Office at this time.
THERi WILL BE a special Founders Day Convocation on Sunday, February 18, at ii:00.
All Faculty members will be expected to wear academic regalia. Any faculty member
who wishes to have this rented is asked to leave this request in the Office of the
Registrar by Thursday, January 18. NOTE: It is hoped that it will be possible to
secure this regalis for both the Convocation and the March Commencement for the
usual rental fee.
