FACULTY HANDBOOK: Items two and three for the permanent Handbook are being issued
with this Bulletin: an "Interpretation of the Absence Rule," and '"Faculty
Personnel Policies." Permanent binders for the Handbook will be available at the
Faculty Meeting on May 23.
FACULTY APPOINTMENT. We announce with pleasure the appointment of E. Earl Joiner,
Stetson A.B. 'U9, B.D, and Th. M., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, as
Assistant Professor of Religion, effective this September,
ADMINISTRATIVE APPOINTMENT: Mr. and Mrs. James Perdue are joining the staff of the
Admissions Office at the close of the current semester.
SUMMER REPAIRS, REQUISITIONS, ETC. If you plan to ask for repairs, paint, or other
small carpentry jobs to be done during the summer, please discuss them with the
appropriate authorities and agree on requests now, so work may be distributed
through summer. Each August thero is an accumulation of "musts" at tho last minute.
Perhaps you are aware of small jobs that need doing but which will not come to
attention unless you report them.
SCHEDULE CHANGES in the Summer Session and Fall Semester schedules are indicated in
ink on the schedules posted on tho bulletin boards along the Elizabeth Hall corridor.
Correction sheets will be issued when the programs seem permanent.
