CLASS CARDS: It is especially important in Summer Session that class cards bo
checked daily until classes are settled, and any irregularities reported immediately
to the Registrar's Office.
ABSENCES: Two consecutive absences must bo reported at once to this office.
CANDIDATES FOR DEGREES IN AUGUST; should bo reminded that they must apply at tho
Registrar's Offico immediately.
CLASSES should be checked carefully to bo certain that freshmen and sophomores aro
not enrolled in upper division classes without permission from tho Dean of their
College or School.
SUMMER SCHEDULE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, 1:00 P.M. to
1*:00 P.M. Beginning July 2, all offices will be closed on Saturday. Certain offices
may close Juno 25. ROTC Headquarters hours: 0730 hours until 1600 hours,
FAMILY LIFE WORKSHOP this week in Allen Hall. Faculty members and wives welcome;
others are expected to pay tho registration foe,
AMERICAN STUDIES: There will bo four public lectures Tuesday evenings, beginning
Juno 2b1, at 7O0 P.M., by Dr. John H. HaLlowell of Duke University. The public is
invited.
Immediately following the first lecture, there will be a reception in
Chaudoin Hall for all Faculty members and Summer Session students.

NEW PROCEDURE FOR CHANGE OF REGISTRATION: If a student desires to add or drop a
course after he has completed his registration, he must first secure the approval
of his faculty adviser. Changes which aro recommended by the faculty adviser will
then bo reviewed by the dean of the school in which the student is registered.
If proper advising has occurred at the time of registration, it is assumed that
very few changes will be necessary. Forms for this purpose may be found in the
faculty advisor folders.
