DEPARTMENT HEADS OF THE COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS should report to Dean McEniry's
office Tueeday-cr'Wednesday, January 5th or 6th to verify their teaching schedule
for the spring semester.
SCHOLARSHIPS: ' Ten full scholarships for Florida professional people to attend the
Yale University Summer School of Alcohol Studies hartobeon offered by the new Florida
State Alcoholic Rehabilitation Program. Address inquiries to Florida Alcoholic Rehabilitation Program, P. 0. Box 665, Avon Park, Florida or contact this office for
further information.
ART CLASSES: Community art classes will start Thursday. January 6 at Holmes Hall
and continue regularly for three months on that evening from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M.
Ceramic classes under the direction of Mrs. Freund and Mr. Gaines will be limited
to Stetson faculty and staff. The sketch class which will be taught by Mr. Freund
will be open to the general public. Bring sketch pad, pencil, and eraser to first
sketch class.
LEGITIMATE ABSENCES: The following students missed classes from 2:00 P.M., Friday,
December 17 through Saturday, December 18 in connection with a basketball game in
Tallahassee: Ted Cassidy, Bobby Crumpton, John Edwards, Mel Gregory, Dave Howard,
Keith King, Jim Kitchens, Dick Layer, Bill Layer, Bill Reynolds, Dick Silvers, Carl
Whiddon, and Jack Wilson.
FELLOWSHIPST: A reminder that this office has information regarding Kent Fellowships
designed specifically to find students interested in college teaching who will
approach it from a religious viewpoint as well as other fellowships of interest
to faculty posted on the bulletin board for this office.
