*REGISTRATION DAY. During the regular hours of registration, 8-12, 1-5» on Monday,
February 7, all members of the faculty are expected to be available either in their
offices or at designated places where they cart be found easily. I hope this will
be a registration day on which I receive no complaints, C.H.H.

SCHEDULE AND CLASS SIZE: Your careful attention is invited to five requests:
1. Please report size of all classes to the Dean of your college daily until
classes are settled."
2. Schedule cards are being placed in your box with this Bulletin; if you do not
find them, ask at the Post Office or here. Please fill them out in duplicate, and
3. Leave them at Dean Hopkins office immediately after the second meeting of your
classes.
HI Discrepancies between the number of students and class cards should be reported
to the Registrar's Office after the second meeting of the class.
5. General Education instructors will please report all individual student section
changes from fall semester class rolls to Dean McEniry immediately.
GRADES FOR THE FALL SEMESTER are available to students through the Registrar's
Office only; many students who are in arrears in their accounts (but whose names
are not known to faculty members) will try to obtain grades from teachers. Please
do not give grades to students or discuss them with them unless they have their
reports from the Registrar's Office. This will be very helpful to the Business Offic
** COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE RETIREMENT PLAN: The members of this committee (Mr.
Franklin, Dean Furlong, Dr. Gibson, Mr. Giles, Mr. Leavitt, and Dr. Walker) will
be glad to receive suggestions,
EXAMINATION ETHICS: The Faculty is reminded of its rules concerning dishonesty in
examinations and classwork:
1. On the first offense (determination of which rests with the instructor) the
minimum punishment will be a zero on the paper, test, or examination. The maximum
punishment will be a failure in the course.
2. A report of each offense will be sent (by the instructor) to the Registrar's
Office to become a part of the student's record. The report of a first offense
will not become a part of the student's permanent record.
3. Upon receipt by the Registrar of a report of a second offense, the Dean of the
University will be notified and appropriate disciplinary action taken.
