LEGITIMATE ABSENCES; The following missed classes after 10:00 A.M.,
Saturday, May 1 to compete in a golf match: Jim Bryon, Dave Howard,
George Herndon, Bill Kaleel, and Pete Vas. The following missed
classes Friday, April 30th in connection with a program by the School
of Music: Frank Creech, Ransel Evans, Walter Hawkins, Walter Sullinse
The following missed their 10:00 A.M. class on Monday, April 26th to
play with the Stetson Band: Judy Briley, Frank Creech, Thomas Dixon,
Ransel Evans, Suzy Gardner, Richard Hogle, Marie Jenson, Doris Lyon,
Marilee Post, Jeanne Price, Robert Salter, Thomas Smith, and Lois
White.

HARRY L. TAYLOR ESSAY deadline has been extended to May 10. The! r
faculty is asked to encourage participation.

Street; mailing address, Stetson University Post Office.
AWARDS DAYS: Chapel May 11-12 will be devoted to certain awards, ~
chiefly the Hays Prize essays. Will all faculty members having
responsibilities related to giving of awards communicate with this
office concerning this program.
STETSON FACULTY ART EXHIBIT: The art exhibition from May 3-17 will
be the annual Stetson faculty exhibit. Work included contains examples,
from Mrs. Freund, Mrs. Peet, Miss Harvey, Dean Turner, Mr. Gaines,
Mr. Waterman, Mr. Denman, and Mr. Freund.
