Wednesday, February 17th to present a program before the Stetson University Council:

tasketball players missed classes after 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 19th in order to
play the University of Tampa: John Blue, Jim Carlin, Ted Cassidy, Bob Crumpton, Roy
Chewning, Maurice Foster, Bill Garrett, Ed Hansel, Dick Hopkins, Dave Howard, John
Imgrund, William P. Layer, George Painter, William Reynolds, Dick Silver, Jack Smith,
Blan Taylor, ^udy Webber, John Tomeschuck, and Jim Yonge.
TICKETS AVAILABLE: Tickets for the 8th Annual Fourth District, Florida Bandmasters
Association, Band Contest and Drill Exhibition which will be held on Friday, March 19,
1951* may be obtained this week from Mrs. Sweeney (Business Office), Mr. Blan Taylor,
Mr. Harper, and Mrs. Aldred (Co-op Office). This year the Contest is sponsored by the
DeLand Band and Orchestra Association.
ON CAMPUS: The American Federation of Advertising is meeting at Stetson en February
27th & 28th under the sponsorship of the School of Business. Anyone interested in
attending the activities in connection with this conference are requested to contact
Dean Furlong.
RELIGIOUS FOCUS WEBfC Daily at 10:00 A.M. and at 7:00 P.M. there will be non-compul-
sory chapel services. All offices will be closed during the morning hour. The
Faculty is reminded that much of the success of this student-planned activity may
depend on the degree to which they set an example in attending and reflecting a
cooperative attitude. Members of the Faculty are especially reminded of the Fellow-
ship Hour. Monday, February 22nd, at 8:15 P»M.
TB X-RAY: The State Health Department Mobile TBX-Ray Unit will be on cairpus Wednesday
and Thursday from 10:00 to 1:00 and from 2:00 to 5:00 in the Stetson Hall basement.
All students and faculty members are expected to be photographed. Make out your card
(these are being placed in Post Office bcxes with more at the Soda Shop) in advance
in order to expedite the process. PLEASE ANNOUNCE THIS TO ALL YOUR CLASSES iJSD INSIST
THAT EVERY STUDENT COMPLY. This is a free health service that is considered a part
of the regular University health program. Faculty members should go first to set the
example. Wednesday and Thursday, February 2l*th and 25th.
LECTURE BY DR. ROBERT L. BROWNl "A Guide to the Recognition of Cancer". Dr. Brown
is Associate Director of the Robert Winshop Memorial Clinic of the Emory University
Hospital and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society. His
lecture is sponsored by the Trustees, Medical Staff, and Women's auxiliary of the Fish
Memorial Hospital. Admission free.
