ON CAMPUS: Approximately 175 high school girls, representing Baptist
churches throughout Florida, will be on campus this week end (March 12-13
attending a Y.W.A. house party. As many of these girls are prospective
University students, it is hoped that you will exert every effort to
make them feel welcome.

THE CATALOGUE FOR 1955-5b will probably go to press in November, 1951+.
That is sooner than we thinkI Since there is such a short time after
the opening of the fall semester in which to initiate curricular changes
and other matters pertaining to the Catalogue, it is strongly urged
that tentative copy be prepared by June 1. Also: please check your
name and degrees, and any other part of the Catalogue in which you are
concerned. We assume that it is correct and meets with your approval
if we do not hear to the contrary. C.H.H.
FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY, BETHUNE-C00KMAN COLLEGE. Members of the Faculty
are cordially invited to attend this event, March 17, at 8:00 P.M. in
the College Gymnasium on the main campus. Dr. Ralph J. Bunche will be
the principal speaker.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS for study and travel are noted on the
Library Bulletin Board.
BOARD OF PUBLICATIONS. Mrs. Wasson and Mr. Skinner have been appointed
to serve on this Committee.
-::- ROTC FORMAL PARADES featuring special events will begin Monday,
March 8. with the theme "Freedom of Speech." Speaker, Dr. Menser.
APPRECIATION: On behalf of the Student Christian Association and the
Faculty Committee on Religious Life, I wish to express our sincere
appreciation for the cooperation of the Faculty and Administration in
our recent Religious Focus Week, which was one of the most effective
ones we have ever had on Stetson's Campus. "Bill" McCammon,
ART EXHIBIT: A retrospective exhibition of the works of Andre Smith
is being featured in the Art Gallery during this month, Mr. Smith
was co-founder of the rist art center in Florida -- the Research
Studios. Maitland. Florida.
