"School vs. University*': Stetson is a university. May I suggest that
we cultivate the habit of calling it that? "School" may correctly
refer to any educational institution and is part of the name of three
of our constituent parts. "College" and "university" have specific
meanings. I believe that our sense of pride in Stetson and the general
morale of the University community would be improved by using "university" rather than other words that describe the total enterprise.
LEGITIMATE ABSENCES: Robert Owens missed classes on January 18th and
19th to drive the basketball team to Miami. John S. Lmgrund, Jr.
missed classed on January 28th in conjunction with the ROTC program.
•^DEMONSTRATIONS; All faculty members interested in learning more about
tape recording, recorders, and/or motion picture film are invited to
attend the demonstrations as noted. See Mr. Merriam for particulars.
