ALL TRIPS involving Stetson students are to be cleared through this
Office and the President's Office before they are finally entered in
the Calendar. It is suggested that when the trip Is contemplated that a
tentative date be inserted in the Calendar, subject to verification upon
clearance. This covers all athletic, music and all other trips by groupg
YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS. A pamphlet by this title, published by the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is being placed in each faculty
box, with the compliments of this office. The breathing space between
your last class and your first examination would be an appropriate time
for a first sitting on this little burr. If the faculty of a world-renownec
school can be asked to study "the mechanism of teaching--with a view to
self-criticism and self-development"

EXAMINATION POLICY: The Faculty is reminded that by its vote of
April 21, 1952, it pledged itself to carry out the following policies
concerning examinations:
1. Instructors will do all that is possible to provide an examining situation which will, in itself, discourage cheating.
2. Students will bring only pens or pencils to the examination
room unless otherwise authorized by the instructor.
3. All examinations will be taken in blue books whenever practicable.
