FACULTY DINNER: Special arrangements have been made for a buffet supper for
faculty members and their wives (or husbands) to be held at DeLeon Springs at
6:00 P.M. on October 2. The cost of the supper will be $1.50 each. The DeLeon
passes will be honored and the last aquabatic performance will be given at 5:00 P.
LIBRARY NEWS: Please note that the east end of the Reading Room has been converted to house GENERAL EDUCATION books and materials. Also, the entire referenc
collection is now located in the west end of the reading room.
STUDENT HELP: Faculty members xirho anticipate needing part-time help and who have
not thus far filed their requests in the Business Office should do so not later
than Tuesday, September 22.
PARKING: All cars regularly parked on campus this year will be registered.
Details will be announced shortly.
ADDRESSES: Please complete and return schedule cards in duplicate to this office
noting addresses and telephone numbers, xrithout waiting to include class data.
This information is needed immediately for the University Directory.
SALARIES: Please notify the Business Office as to whether you wish to receive
salary payments in nine or twelve installments. All new faculty members please
call at the Business Office immediately concerning withholding, social security,
and the accident and hospitalization insurance plan.
NEW SECRETARY: Miss Pamela Valentine, a graduate of the University of Georgia
who comes to us from Jacksonville,has joined the Dean's Office as secretary. She
has been connected with Jacksonville Junior College for the past five years
where she served as Secretary to the President, Alumni Executive Secretary, and
Publicity Director.
