Please bo prepared to read copy on your department. Any faculty member wishing to check the listing of his name will be welcome to do so; new members will please make it a point to do this. This reminds us to remark that if anyone is disappointed that proposed change or suggestions were not incorporated into this new Catalogue, he should read this Bulletin for April 20, 1953* May we suggest that all matters of whatever kind that may involve Catalogue statements whould be initiated months ahead of deadlines. Now is the time to begin the consideration of curricular and procedural changes for another year and Catalogue. THE FACULTY STUDY COMMITTEE; Miss Brown. Chairman, requests copies or nitattonw of any and all faculty publications both for permanent Library deposit and for display. Attention is also called to the display table for information on faculty study — in the main reading room just behind the browsing books. FORD FELLOWSHIPS are being announced again for 195U-55. Stetson is entitled to nominate three "... able younger teachers ... who show exceptional promise and who wish to broaden their qualifications for teaching their respective fields as part of a program of liberal education ..." Fellowships are available"in the humanities, the social sciences, and natural sciences but not in tecfacical or professional subjects. . ." Full information and forms are available in this office, but those thinking of applying should discuss the matter with the dean of their college. Deadline for applications in this office is January 27. UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO GRADUATE TEACHERS SCHOLARSHIPS are open to "college graduates who intend to become teachers". Consideration will be given to "interest in college teaching, personal adaptability to work of this kind, and the quality of academic performance." Nominations should be made through this office not later than February 10, 195U»
