FASHION CAREERS: Mrs. Josephine Riggs, the Admissions Counselor for the Tobe-Coburn
School for Fashion Careers of New York City, will be on campus all day Wednesday,
December 9, to talk with women students interested in merchandising, advertising,
fashion writing, photographic styling, and radio and television. She will be glad
to meet interested students in the back parlor of Chaudoin Hall at ten o'clock.
Students who have chapel during this hour may make special appointments.
KENT FELLOWSHIPS: This opportunity for outstanding students intending to teach is
open to those having "a concern for religion in liberal education." See the Bulletin

IMPROVING TRANSITION FROM SCHOOL TO COLLEGE, the results of a recent study by the
Committee on School and College Relations of the Educational Records Bureau, may be
borrowed from this office. Also, IMPROVING COLLEGE INSTRUCTION, an American Council
on Education study, offers useful viewpoints for those who do not consider that they
have arrived at a state of perfection in this art.
