Dr. Paul E. Daschcr, dean of
the College of Business and Administration at Drexel University
in Philadelphia, has been ap poi ntcd
dean of the School of Business
Administration, beginning with the
) 993-94 academic year. Stetson
President H. Douglas Lee announced
Daschcr will succeed Dr. William W. Wright, who announced
his retirement as dean last June.
Wnghl will continue to teach at
Stetson as a member of the Business school facility.
Dascher is excited about the
new opportunities Stetson offers.
"Drexci isa large, urban, cooperative education institution: I've
spent 20 years there. 16 as dean. I
know I can do the things it requires.

concern that students had not

He earned the Ph.D.. master of
science and bachelor of science
degrees from Penn State

ness, Daschcr is expected to be
helpful as Stetson's business

Amy Radford, the Assistant Director ofthe West Area, led the Residential Life interest session held
in Nemec Kal! on Wednesday, November 18. Approximately 30 people attended the session which
included information on the application process, new training procedures, and a question and
answer session with the present stndent staff. Applications are being accepted until December 11.
