Dickenson, ' Golden, and West are Stetson graduates. ?■■ Herlong spoke at the Student Leadership banquet Thursday in „ the spot occupied last year by ,- Gov. LeRony Collins. The banquet was sponsored by the two candidate for governor and was Florida campaign director for the Kennedy-Johnson presidential ticket last year. He received his 1 L..F. degree from Stetson in 1948. Golden will provide the address for the Stetson Alumni banquet scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tonight in the Stetson Union. He is manager of Ford's regional office of civic and governmental affairs serving seven Southern states. West is1 the speaker for the Stetson Min'-sterial Association breakfast at 8:00 on Saturday (Feb. 181. Dickenson, will talk ax trs.e Stet son College oi Law breakfast at 8:00 Saturday in the Stetson Union. Dickenson was an unsuccessful land, and assistant in the office of Congressman Herlong. Golden received his B.S. degree from Stetson in 1942, and and LL.B. from the University of Florida in 1947. He was at one time legislative attorney in the office of the secretary of the Air Force for 17 months. Leung, last fall, returned to this country from his home in Hong Kong to take graduate work at Louisiana State University. In a letter Leung tells how he , obtained a leave of absence for Elizabeth Hall one year to study library science inasmuch as his Hong Kong Baptist College will soon build a new library. He has been librarian for the college and also a teacher of English. Leung- has retained through the years a deep and enduring mem- cry of his student days at Stetson. He has occupied many prominent and important posts of j trust and responsibility in the .educational, political, and public relief agencies of his home land. The Hong Kong graduate said in his letter to Dr. Edmunds that he "inherited the spirit of service to others" from Stetson University. Bible conferences *.hro\ighcut several states. The 1961 Stetson.
