Special arrangements will be made for those girls who wish to stay out to see this movie. All profits will be donated to the Green Feather charity drive. O'TOOLE AND BURTON Becket stars Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton in the roles of King Henry II of England and Thomas Becket. Becket is boon companion to Henry and owe allegiance only to him. To reward him for his friendship and to strengthen his won political support, Henry makes Becket his Chancell or. In this office Becket betrays the Church for the King. To further reward this friendship Henry makes Becket arch - bishop of Canterbury. Much to Henry's dismay, Becket takes his new position with sober seriousness and defies Henry to uphold the honor of God. All proceeds from the dance will be donated to the Green Feather Drive. This drive is the only charity appeal sponsored on campus, and the money raised goes to various needy organizations. Mike Hood, chairman of the event, stressed that it will be an excellent opportunity for everyone to help a good cause and have a lot of fun as well. He added, "We only had approximately 300 students attend last year, but we expect a much better turn out for this event this year." • i Food -. willi .be ■ provided, _ and .ibeverages^wyi be sold. Dress will be casual. Saturday features a Pancake Supper at the Presbyterian Church. All students are invit ed to participate in this enterprise all day. While the Pancake Supper is in progress, students will be able to brouse through the exhibits at the Green Feather Carnival. The carnival has always been a high point on Stetson's calendar of events. It has also been a major contributing factor in the 'ehairty drive, due to the enthusiastic support of the Stetson community. The purpose of the carnival is to draw revenue through entertainment and exhibits. All the proceeds from the carnival concessions go to the Green Feather drive. Everyone can expect a good time due to the abundance of special eyecatching displays filled with laughs and surprises. Eighteen booths will com - prise this year's event. They ITC Needs Drivers For New Program By BARBARA STROUD The Interdenomination Tutoring Committee needs volun - teers to drive to Southwest High every Monday through Friday after school. Suteh a transportation service would enable the SHS students to be tutored on a regular basis. According to Mr. »Jack Mabry, Religious Life Council funds will be used to pay each driver 10 cents a mile for the two-mile trip. Interested drivers should contact Barb Stroud, box 837.
