Three Presidential Candidates
Running; Platforms Aanonnced
With only four days remaining before Spring Student Government
Association elections, politics are rampant on the Stetson campus. Because of the extreme student interest, a record vote turnout is predicted for the polls Tuesday.
Campaign platforms have appeared on the scene during the past
few days with both parties and anfw days with both parties and an independent candidate all calling for a primary system. '

Highlight of the past week was the surprise announcement Tuesday that Jack Smith, running as an Independent, would enter the race
for President of the Student Body. Since Smith was not nominated at
the Student Body meeting last Friday he will be a 'write-in' candidate,
candidate.
Last night the Hatter Party entertained with a "coke and donut
party" to give the students an opportunity to meet their candidates
personally. The University Party has also planned campaign rallies.
