Description
Poster announcing Dustin Angell, photographer and environmental educator, as a guest speaker for the Gillespie Museum Science Caf, January 16, 2020, Rinker Environmental Learning Center (RELC). Angell discusses his documentary work on Florida ecologists and offers tips on how to participate in the conservation photography movement. His exhibit will be on display through March 13 in the environmental gallery of the RELC. Cultural credit available. The lecture occurred in conjunction with the Florida Stewards, the Spring 2020 exhibit featuring Angell's photography. Florida Stewards highlighted the people working to protect the wildlands and wildlife of Florida, the biologists, land managers, artists, and others who take to the wild places, and who work to understand, protect, and live with Florida's natural wonders. Dustin's photos document the science and conservation challenges of the region by showing the people trying to solve them.
