Poster announcing Steven T. Katz, Slater Professor in Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Boston University, presents ""Reconsidering Jewish Resistance During the Holocaust"" as part of The Holocaust Memorial Lecture, April 7, 2022, Stetson Room. The lecture will reconsider the very controversial topic of Jewish Resistance during the Holocaust. We will test the thesis that Jews ""went like lambs to the slaughter,"" beginning with methodological issues and continuing on to Jewish resistance in the ghettos, with partisan groups in the forests of Eastern Europe and the countries of Western Europe, and finally in the death camps. We will challenge the general view of this issue.
