Did the first part of the semester not go as planned? Academic Success is holding a Midterm Success Ses-sion in Smith Hall Lounge Wednesday 3/11, 7-8pm. At this session a Peer Success Coach will meet to cover specific topics & go over tips & strategies to help stu-dents become successful academically. Students who attend will get Chick-fil-la, first come first serve!
The Writing Center now has 2 satellite locations! The Sage Hall Satellite in the Natural History Museum is open Mon. 12-2pm &Thurs. 1-5pm. Sage tutors can help with writing assignments in the natural sciences. The LBC Satellite in LBC 209 is open Mon. 5-8pm & Thurs. 11-2pm. LBC Satellite tutors can help with writing assignments for business classes. Make appoint-ments on Stetson SSC by se-lecting the location you need.
Elizabeth is the library’s Acquisitions/Interlibrary Loan Spe-cialist. She shares Stetson’s library materials with borrow-ers from other institutions, and orders new items for the library. She graduated from UCF with a BS in Exceptional Student Education and went on to teach for sever-al years before becoming interested in library work. She began working here in 2017 and is pursuing an MS in Information at FSU. She is excited to be assisting with the Young Adult book club coming up later this Spring! Elizabeth also enjoys volunteering with the Halifax Humane Society, running, and going to the movies.
