STETSON UNIVERSITY
GREAT PIANISTS AT STETSON Series
This New York Steinway concert Grand Model D was manufactured at
the Steinway factory in Astoria, Queens, New York City in 1997. The
piano was purchased new by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Teryl of Winter Garden,
Florida, who meticulously and lovingly cared for it. With the generous
support of Lorna Jean Hagstrom, Stetson was able to purchase this
extraordinary instrument from the Teryls. The School of Music is
deeply grateful for this addition to the Lee Chapel stage. It is with great
excitement that we inaugurate this concert series and anticipate many
remarkable performances for years to come.
