orchestration, he later orchestrated the piece himself as a four-
movement suite. The orchestration contains virtuosic passages in the
winds and they play a highly dominant role in the piece. The piece was
later transcribed by Mason Jones for wind quintet, but only the
movements Prelude, Fugue, Menuet, and Rigaudon.
