STETSON UNIVERSITY
Stetson University has a rich heritage
of choral singing beginning more
than 100 years ago. The Women's
Chorale, under the direction of
Dr. Andrew Larson, is a select 52
voice ensemble comprised of music
majors and students pursuing and
array of degrees from across Stetson's
beautiful campus. This performance
is the chorale's second at a Southern
Division Conference. The choir's
first recording project was recently
released under the Clear Note label.
The choir enjoys studying both new
and existing compositions from
around the world.
Dr. Andrew Larson is Associate
Director of Choral Activities in
the SU school of Music. He works
closely with Dr. Timothy Peter,
Director of Choral activities and
numerous voice faculty, scholars and
artists. Excellence in opera theater
and private coaching fortifies one
mmrnm*
of the most comprehensive vocal
programs for undergraduates in
the United States. Stetson students
sing with passion and intellectual
curiosity rooted in a healthy
pedagogical approach, fostering a
philosophy of vibrant choral singing
and vocal artistry.

located on the DeLand, Florida
