of choral singing beginning more
than 100 years ago. The Concert
Choir, under the direction of Dr.
Timothy Peter, is a highly select
52 voice ensemble comprised of
undergraduate music majors and
students pursuing an array of degrees
from across Stetson's beautiful
campus. The choir performs
repertoire in a variety of sacred and
secular genres in numerous languages
and cultural domains. The 2014
Concert Choir Spring Tour includes
performances in North Carolina,
Virginia, Maryland and New York
culminating in a solo concert
performance at Alice Tully Hall,
Lincoln Center.
Dr. Timothy Peter is in his second
year as Director of Choral Activities
in the SU School of Music. Dr.
Peter works closely with Dr. Andrew
Larson, Associate Director of Choral
Activities and numerous voice faculty,
scholars and artists. Excellence
in opera theatre and private
coaching fortifies one of the most
comprehensive vocal programs for
undergraduates in the United States.
Stetson students sing with passion
and intellectual curiosity rooted
in a healthy pedagogical approach
fostering a philosophy of vibrant
choral singing and vocal artistry.
Stetson University is a
comprehensive, private university
composed of individually strong

select graduate and professional
programs. The School of Music is
located on the DeLand, Florida
campus. Founded in 1883, Stetsons
vision has remained constant:
engaging students with challenging
academics and instilling values for
life; educating those who are daring
enough to pursue not just success,
but significance.
