Copies of four plays belonging to Kate Claxton. Claxton was a popular turn-of-the-century actress in Chicago, and then New York. She also managed a prominent theatre in New York and was onstage at the time of the tragic Brooklyn Theatre Fire in 1876. More biographical information included with her memorabilia. Late 1800s to early 1900s.
