Description
Small round pin with the lantern on a book pictured with the words 'Stetson University Pro Deo et Veritate' and roman numeral 1883. Found in Loyal Alley, between Walter and Milbridge streets in Allentown, PA and donated to the University in 1964 by a Miss Newmeyer. According to a July 10, 1964 archivist note with the pin, 'Pin was purchased from John Wanamaker, Philadelphia, PA. John Wanamaker supplied the Stetson pins.
