The library awards the Evans C. Johnson Research Prize and the R. Neil Scott Research Prize each spring to students who wrote excellent research papers in a first-year class. Elle Henderso won the Evans C. Johnson Prize; Desario Llaho won the R. Neil Scott Prize. The winners pose with Dr. Tandy Grubbs who taught the class in which the winning papers were written.
