The library awards the Evans C. Johnson Research Prize and the R. Neil Scott Research Prize. These prizes are awarded annually each spring for the best first year student research papers. Mira Monroe (Paul Croce's class) won the Johnson Prize, Emma Weis (Paul Croce's class) won the Scott Prize, and Jose Lois (Michele Randall's class) received an honorable mention for his paper.
