Publicity portrait of former United States Senator and House of Representative member Claude Pepper. He appeared on campus many times in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s to speak at various events, including the Student Government Association (SGA) conventions which were often held at Stetson. President J. Ollie Edmunds ran against Pepper in 1944 and lost.
