Portrait of American violinist and composer. Albert Spalding. Inscribed and signed to Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Morse. From the Orwin A. Morse Collection. Orwin Allison Morse directed the Stetson University School of Music from 1904-1909. His family donated a collection of photos, mostly of famous musicians, and most signed. Although most of the photos were taken in the 1920s when Mr. Morse lived in Sioux City, Iowa, a number of these musicians performed at Stetson University during Mr. Morse's tenure.
