Portrait of bass-baritone Arthur Middleton. Inscribed and signed to O. A. Morse. From the Orwin A. Morse Collection. Orwin Allison Morse directed the Stetson University School of Music from 1904-1909. His family donated a collection of photos, mostly of famous musicians, and most signed. Although most of the photos were taken in the 1920s when Mr. Morse lived in Sioux City, Iowa, a number of these musicians performed at Stetson University during Mr. Morse's tenure. Notable signature.
