Title
Portrait of Warren Stone Gordis, who served as Acting President for ten months in 1895-1896. Gordis came to Stetson in 1888 and spent most of his career as a professor of Latin and Greek. He is considered Stetson's first 'librarian' after attending library training and establishing the first professional library standards.
