Description
1965 Stetson Company promotional black-and-white photograph of The Wrangler hat and corresponding hat box, presented in celebration of the company's 100th anniversary. A sign with the display reads: The Wrangler / created by John B. Stetson Company, Philadelphia, USA / Stetson has taken the traditional Homburg and restyled it for today's modern attire. The heritage of more than 100 years of hat manufacture is represented in this classic Stetson Western hat. The 14K gold mesh band is embellished with 12 perfectly matched Cabochon rubies and two flaming eyed stampeding horses sculpted in 14K gold. The baggage box, created from genuine Python skins from the Far East, carries a hand engraved sterling silver medallion featuring the universally recognized Stetson Beaver and Eagle designs.
