Description
Pawnee Town Crier Sonny Boy Fields photographed by Ryan RedCorn while wearing a Stetson Open Road, c. 2020. The images and an accompanying story appeared in Stetson: American Icon - The Hat That Won the West, published by Rizzoli Press in 2025 to mark the 160th anniversary of the Stetson brand. Foam core backed prints hung in the Gallery DuPont in the duPont-Ball Library from October 21 - December 6, 2025 in an exhibit titled, Spotlight: Stetson x Ryan RedCorn; this was a satellite exhibit accompanying a larger exhibit at the Homer and Dolly Hand Art Center, entitled, Style, Substance, and Stetson Hats: 160 Years of the John B. Stetson Company, curated by Stetson University archivist Elizabeth Maycumber.
