Tan wool Junior Ranch Stetson hat with matching ribbon hat band, c. 1940s. This hat was the very first Junior Ranch Stetson hat to come off the line in Philadelphia, and is marked '1' on inside tag. Another label reads: To Re-Order Mention Number 78676. Boy's size 7. Donated in 2007 by John G. Fletcher II and Verna May Fletcher, whose father John Greenwood Fletcher was the Production Manager at the Stetson Hat Company in Philadelphia.
